An Entire Entry Dedicated to Waxy Lip Balms

Let me just say, its been a long past couple days.  I haven't posted in what?...about a week?  Ugh.  The weekend is usually just so busy and this week has been, well, something else.  I actually have a day of rest before the busy holiday weekend (which I am stuck working, by the way), and my brain just doesn't feel like thinking!

Just in case you haven't noticed, I got a new background for my page!  I think its quite pretty.  :)  I just need to figure out how to move the button for Shabby Blogs.  I want it up in the corner and not over the date for all my brand new posts.  Or I'd be happy butting it in a sidebar.  I'll figure it out.  I used to be really good with all this html stuff, and it has just been so long since I've used it, I just need to remember.

 Lip Balm
I'm pretty disappointed.  My Burt's Beeswax Lip Balm is about to run out and I get so bored that I really can't use a product more than once at a time.  I remember that I had bought that really good C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Balm from Bath & Body Works a couple years ago.  I can't find the regular lip balm online anywhere though!  Then, I got all excited because I found a yummy looking lip balm at Sephora.  It was Fresh's Sugar Lip Treatment.  I knew this was the one I just had to get... and then I saw the price.  I would love to pay $22.50 for lip balm, but I'm broke.  Do you know anyone else that puts this much thought into something to moisturize their lips?!

So, like I always do... I decided to go online.  But to my disappointment, I am not finding anything on the home remedies sites that appeals to me.  I just like the way lip balm feels on my lips... not just lip gloss.  Check out this link I found... do you think this sounds like the remedy for me?   Boogers as lip balm?!  EWW... and the stuff about drinking plenty of water and getting nutrients, thats all great, but it doesn't make my lips feels waxy.  I found some other home remedies (like the one I had in an earlier blog about using Olive Oil) but nothing that will give me that amazing waxy finish...

So here's my question:  Does anyone have any good recommendations for great natural lip balms, that I preferably can buy in a store?  (I don't like having to wait for an order or pay shipping & handling for online purchases.)

  1. Hmmm -- 22.50 for chapstick? I'd probably lose it a week into getting it ... so I couldn't pay that much either!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments -- LOVE!
