DressGreen: Calming & Clarifying Facial Cream

Hey there!

I wanted to do a quick review on a facial moisturizer that I purchased from DressGreen on Etsy. Its only 2 oz., so I was expecting something smaller, but there is actually quite a bit here. I purchased this for $8.00 and I don't remember exactly how much shipping was, but I'm thinking it was $1 or $2. I know I wouldn't have purchased it if the shipping was too expensive.

I chose this moisturizer due to my oily and acne-prone skin. After just looking at the listing again, and it looks like they might have changed the label. This one says "Calming & Clarifying Facial Cream" and the new ones looks like it says "Calming & Clarifying Green Tree Facial Cream".

Its full of essential oils that are supposed to promote the skin. Here is the description from the listing:
This is a lighter-weight cream, best suited for skin in the normal to oily range. It combines shea butter to moisturize with hemp seed butter to hydrate and sooth. A unique blend of beneficial oils are added to help soften and nourish the skin including apricot kernel oil, grapeseed oil, sesame oil, rice bran oil, and jojoba oil. The calming power of this cream can be found in the special blend of seven botanical extracts including organic goji berry, calendula, wasabi root, organic green tea, oat, pomegranate, and organic licorice root. At the same time, a blend of tea tree, sage, and lemon essential oils works to clarify and purify the skin. Best of all, for those of us with sensitive skin, there are no fragrance oils, no petroleum products, and no parabens in the cream!

Okay, so what do I think? I didn't use this long only because I received my VoxBox from Influenster, and I began using the moisturizer they sent because I'll have to fill out a survey for that. But, after doing the survey, I do plan on going back to this. I did really enjoy this product.

It feels super light weight and you barely need any to cover your face, I'd say less than a dime-size. The scent is herbal with a hint of minty-ness. I'm not really sure where I'm getting this minty scent, since there are no mint related oils. The color of this moisturizer is a light green.

From what I did use of this product, I didn't have any adverse reactions. And because I am extremely acne-prone, this is a good sign that most people would also benefit from this product. I really don't have anything that I did not like about this product, therefore I would definitely recommend it. If you would like to purchase this product as well, the link for DressGreen is at the top!

Please remember that I purchased this product with my own money, and am not affiliated with the Etsy shop owner at all, and this review is all my opinion and is of my own free will. Please make your own decisions when trying this product.
