My Fix:
First thing I did was crop the photo. I wanted to get the other people out of the background, and definitely feature the ocean and sky. Asymmetry really does that here. Next thing I did was play with the contrast & exposure a little bit. I also checked the local contrast box to really make the clouds pop. And then I adjusted the saturation to bring out the blue in the water, and then the temperature to make the sun seem bigger and more golden. Finally, I softened the photo and used the Matte effect in Picnik to give the photo that white glow around the edges! (Oh, and I rounded the corners at some point... )
Beautiful job! I love what you did with the exposure and contrast. The love birds look so warm...and the water and clouds--shut up. Simply, beautiful! I had fun with it, glad you did too!
